The Constitution was written by a bunch of dead white religious guys. What relevance can they have today? They did not understand today's issues. Things have changed! Besides, didn't they like slavery? Hey, it's a fluid "living document," right?

The issues the Founders faced are exactly the same as we have today, and today's issues they predicted and addressed. One issue was the constant struggle between the "enlightened" educated bunch, and the rest of us. One side thinks they should govern you because they know best. They expect you to not understand the Constitution. Just let them run things; they're educated and you're not!

Now read the quote from Jefferson above. You and your group must understand how relevant the Constitution is. Unlike others, this country requires an educated public to function, and yet I can guarantee you that you have not been told some of its most basic, relevant, principles. Your understanding is a critical requirement for the US to function. If you really think the Constitution does not provide a solution to today's crises, then they have won. Instead, let me come to your group and tell you what you should have been told. You'll enjoy hearing the brilliance of its design, you'll be greatly encouraged and, for once, you'll know what solutions are there. This is not a political or partisan presentation.
